Exhibition

May 8–June 5, 2015

Opening Reception

Fri. May 8, 2015

This exhibition is the culmination of Alberto Aguilar's Crossing Boundaries residency through Arts + Public Life and the Center for the Study of Race, Politics and Culture.

In keeping with his mobile residency this exhibition will place at multiple sites across the city. Throughout his time as resident artist he tested the boundaries of how much he could folded into his residency and it's pliability as a material in itself. In consistence with his use of play as a way to navigate life, his interactions with others, objects and his environment he invites the viewer to participate in the same way through through traveling to multiple sites to view this exhibition. Sites include but are not limited to the Logan Center, Harold Washington College, the Arts Incubator and 4th Ward Projects in Hyde Park.
