Wang Bing's Crude Oil at the Gray Center for Arts and Inquiry

Two-part screening of Wang Bing's award-winning 14-hour documentary on the painstaking labor of crude oil extraction in China. The film's conclusion will be followed by a discussion with Paola Iovene, Associate Professor in Chinese Literature, Cameron Hu, PhD cand. in Anthropology, and Pao-chen Tang, PhD cand. in Cinema and Media Studies.
