Chicago Performance Lab—Student Performance Production and Management
Student interns are responsible for coordinating with the Theater and Performance Studies curatorial and production staffs to support summer resident artists with development and production needs. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: attending design and script development meetings, facilitating design and technical development, and participating on and offstage during performances.

The House Theatre—New Works Development Intern
The New Works Development Intern assists in the daily operations of the Artistic Department and summer development residencies through Chicago Performance Labs at the University of Chicago. The intern works closely with the Artistic Director and New Works Development Associate in communications support of Company Member initiatives, new works development, and projects in rehearsal and production and assists in the production and coordination of all workshops/readings, including dramaturgical research.

Lookingglass Theatre Camp Internship
Lookingglass Theatre seeks on-site summer camp interns for our Summer Camp on the Lake Program, offered in partnership with Theater and Performance Studies and the Logan Center for the Arts at the University of Chicago. Interns will have an opportunity to work directly with Lookingglass campers as well as with veteran teaching artists. Over the course of four weeks, 65 students (8-15 years old) will immerse themselves in the Lookingglass approach to creating an original play.  Each intern will also be assigned to one of four camp groups for the full duration of camp; during afternoons, interns will work with this smaller group of campers, instilling core values of invention, transformation, and collaboration.

Salonathon Assistant Curator
Salonathon, Chicago’s home for underground, emerging, and genre-defying art, seeks a motivated thinker, doer & creator to become a part of our team for the summer.  This internship is geared towards someone with an interest in arts marketing and development, but will also include considerable hands-on production work, event coordination, and creative work.  The person in this role will also assist in a variety of tasks relating to the development of the Salonathon brand and archiving of its many components.  This is a part time position beginning June 2017 and lasting until September 2017.
