Family and Community Programs

The Logan Center is committed to working with the Arts + Public Life initiative and many other partners to provide programming that is open to the community and events that are family-friendly. Everyone is welcome to attend public events, many of which are free, at the Logan Center.

Summer Classes for Youth and Older Adults

The Logan Center and Arts + Public Life, in partnership with UChicago and community arts organizations, offer a variety of summer classes for youth and older adults.

Logan Center Family Saturdays

Logan Center Family Saturdays offer monthly family programs that included a series of matinee concerts, produced by University of Chicago Presents, and interactive workshops presented in partnership with local artists, arts organizations, and student organizations.

Student Programs

The Logan Center provides performance and exhibition spaces for groups on campus and programs geared toward highlighting student artists. These programs aim to expand arts opportunities for students, both as audience members and as presenters.

Logan Center Cabaret Series

The Cabaret is a unique performance series that welcomes any and every artist to take the stage. Cabaret nights are hosted by student MCs and feature student artists, with staff and faculty guest appearances.

In addition to space for exhibition, performance, and screening, the Logan Center also has space for classes, meetings, rehearsals, conferences, and other gatherings.
