Designed as a home for the creative life of the University of Chicago campus and the city of Chicago, the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts is a partner, resource, and catalyst for developing deeper cultural networks and richer creative projects citywide and beyond.
 

Programs & Events

The Logan Center presents concerts, exhibitions, performances, programs, and more from world-class, emerging, local, and student artists. View our calendar of events for a full list of programs, many of which are free and open to the public.

Public Spaces

Public spaces are accessible to anyone during public hours.

  • Café Logan offers an eclectic menu, coffee from local roasters Counter Culture, and wine and craft beer
  • Logan Center Exhibitions presents contemporary art programming at the Logan Center Gallery and throughout the building
  • Our courtyard, third-floor outdoor mezzanine, and two elevated lounges are comfortable spaces for studying and socializing
  • Exhibition, performance, and screening spaces hold programs throughout the year. Most are open to the public, and many are free. View the calendar of events to see what is coming up.

The Logan Center offers many resources for the public and UChicago faculty, staff, and students.

Due to COVID-19, access to the Logan Center is restricted. The Logan Center is increasing access to the building through a phased approach, and we encourage you to check the COVID-19 updates page frequently for the latest information on Logan Center building access.


Logan Center (for UChicago students, faculty, & staff only)
Daily: 8am–11pm
NOTE: UChicago students, faculty, and staff must use their UCID to gain access.

Currently, the Logan Center is not regularly open to the public; however, visitors have access for specific performances, exhibitions, and events with a ticket/reservation.

Café Logan
Beginning September 20th, Café Logan will be open to UChicago students, faculty, and staff during the following hours: Monday through Friday, 8am–8pm, and Saturday and Sunday, noon–8pm.

Thu and Fri, 1-8pm
Sat and Sun, 12-6pm

Logan Center Shop
The Logan Center Shop is available to BA and MFA students at select hours, and classes that meet in the Shop.

Box Office 
Tuesday-Saturday: 12:00pm-6:00pm; 
Sunday-Monday: CLOSED

Logan Media Center
Mon–Fri, 9am–7pm
Sat, 10am–4pm
Sun, 4pm–8pm
