Southern singer Lizz Wright crafts a distinct mixture of jazz, folk, gospel, and R&B, but she's been most widely celebrated as a rising star in the jazz world. Ms. Wright and Little Black Pearl have been invited to partner with the Kellogg Foundation to promote the Truth and Racial Healing (TRHT) Initiative.

Launched in 2016, Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) is a comprehensive, national and community-based process to plan for and bring about transformational and sustainable change, and to address the historic and contemporary effects of racism. It seeks to unearth and jettison the deeply held, and often unconscious, beliefs created by racism – the main one being the belief in a hierarchy of human value.

Please join Ms. Wright, Little Black Pearl, The Kellogg Foundation, and the Logan Center for the Arts for an intimate evening of music and healing in our community. Tickets are only $40 and can be purchased at the Logan Center Box Office or purchased at the door.
