Wednesdays, October 13, 20, and 27 4:00–5:00 p.m., live on Zoom.
Free, registration required for Zoom link.
Instructors: Tasha Vorderstrasse, PhD, OI University and Continuing Education Coordinator
Each one-hour session will include an interactive, virtual-ready lesson demonstration of lessons involving different topics, plus suggestions for tying lessons into the OI’s online and virtual program resources.
Sessions will be recorded and made available to registrants after the program date.

Week 3: Studying Trade in Antiquity (Wednesday, October 27)
Use the concepts of observation, inference, and evidence to study evidence for trade. We will look at how archaeology and texts can be compared to each other in order to better understand trade, focusing in particular on the ancient trade across North Africa, including Egypt, Nubia, Chad and Mali.
