At 57th Street Books

About the book: "Oak leaf changed from green to yellow, orange, and red. It waved goodbye to its friends and left on a fall breeze." Follow oak leaf up - spinning, spiraling, tumbling over fields and farms, the water, and the city . . . where does oak leaf finally come to rest?

About the author: John Sandford writes and illustrates stories for children’s books and magazines. He studied painting and illustration at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, and worked for years as an art director for Cricket Media's children's magazines. John illustrated his first picture book in 1978; "Oak Leaf" is John’s 65th book. He regularly consults with creatives, presents to schools, conferences and workshops for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
