Description
Piano soloist Gilles Vonsattel and the Grossman Ensemble take the stage under the baton of Stefan Asbury in a riveting performance of works by Oliver Knussen and Sir George Benjamin alongside the CCCC’s first performance and Chicago premiere of a composition by founder and director Augusta Read Thomas. As part of the program, poet and novelist Rachel DeWoskin will read her poems “anthrosphere” and “arrhythmia,” from her collection “absolute animal.”
