Artist Mel Chin inaugurates the Civic Arts Church at Sweet Water Foundation as headquarters for the Chicago Fundred Initiative: A Bill for IL.
Presented on the 12th anniversary of the Fundred Initiative, Mel Chin ('Toward Common Cause' exhibiting artist) will be joined by Emmanuel Pratt (Executive Director, Sweet Water Foundation) and participants from the Smart Museum and SkyART teen programs to collectively imagine a future free from lead poisoning.

Chicago Fundred Initiative: A Bill for IL is presented as part of 'Toward Common Cause: Art, Social Change, and the MacArthur Fellows Program at 40,' and will be presented at locations across the city, including Sweet Water Foundation, Hyde Park Art Center, SkyART, and the Smart Museum of Art.
This program is co-presented by the Smart Museum of Art with Sweet Water Foundation and Public Media Institute.
