Description

In this two-part program presented in collaboration with the Poetry Foundation, investigate the extraordinary work of women artists and writers, from the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917 to 2017.

PART I
Thursday, December 7, 6–8 pm

Part I features a tour of Soviet posters from the 1920s and 1930s on view in the exhibition Revolution Every Day as well as a hands-on poster-making workshop.

PART II
Thursday, December 14, 6–8 pm
Poetry Foundation
61 West Superior Street

For Part II, we will reconvene at the Poetry Foundation for a special Forms & Features poetry workshop and discussion dedicated to the work of Russian women poets.
