Launching Arts, Science & Culture Podcast: Brainstorm

We are excited to announce the launch of a new podcast written, hosted and produced by Anya Bershad (PhD, MD candidate, Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience, UChicago) and Bill Hutchison (Phd Candidate, Department of English, UChicago).  Produced on a monthly basis, the podcast will consist of interviews with UChicago graduate students in the arts, humanities, science and social sciences, and will investigate the role of trans-dsciplinary research and practice as UChicago graduates navigate their work at the university and beyond.

The first episode consists of a lively interview with Martin Sheeler (PhD candidate, Physics, UChicago) that weaves between his work on knotting and vortexes, his interdisciplinary work with Jonathan Rockford (MFA Fiber & Material Studies, SAIC) as a 2014-15 Arts, Science & Culgure Graduate Collaboration Grantee, and the role Magic: The Gathering plays in all of this.
