Please join us as we celebrate and congratulate the inaugural group of Design Apprentices who have dedicated themselves to being stewards of a changing environment. The Design Apprenticeship Program (DAP) is a design-based mentorship and skills building initiative that encourages teens and young adults to invest in the improvement of the physical and social conditions of their community. The apprentices, lead by Chicago designer and educator Norman teague, have dedicated themselves to being stewards of a changing environment. The Spring cohort worked diligently with a focus on developing an understanding of the impact that design can have on daily life.
