A new monthly arts program, Logan Center Family Saturdays, begins Saturday, January 12, 2012 at the Reva and David Logan Center for the arts. The first program includes interactive arts workshops (for ages 2-14) presented in partnership with local artists and arts organizations, academic departments, and student organizations. Subsequent Logan Center Family Saturdays will include family-friendly matinee concerts organized by University of Chicago Presents, a preeminent music series.

January 12 workshops include improv, Lego animation, DJ-ing, music, and drawing. There will be no concert performances January 12. See below for more details. The Logan Center is located at The University of Chicago, 60th Street and Drexel Avenue (915 East 60th Street), Chicago, IL.
