Supporting the Arts
Many of the University’s donors—alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations—are passionate about the arts and are making philanthropic investments in the University of Chicago that will help bring this vision to life.
Gifts to support arts will bring a new vitality and excitement to campus. Gifts to support the arts have the potential to:
- Bring prominent practicing artists to campus to work with students, faculty, and our professional artists in residence.
- Create named symposia dedicated to bringing theory and practice of the arts together.
- Provide financial aid for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in the arts
- Name a special space within the new Reva and David Logan Center for Creative and Performing Arts, scheduled for completion in 2011
