The University of Chicago's new Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts is designed to inspire creativity and collaboration across the artistic spectrum. With 180,000 square feet of classroom, practice, performance, and exhibition space, it will be a state-of-the-art home for teaching, a vibrant hub for student life, and an outstanding public venue for resident and visiting artists.
In an innovative design by architects Tod Williams and Billie Tsien, the Logan Center weaves together four premier performance venues, an exhibition gallery, a film screening hall, 14 arts classrooms, and over 90 individual rehearsal rooms, arts studios, and digital media labs. There's truly no place like it.
A landmark addition to the UChicago campus, the Logan Center for the Arts will open for classes and preview events in spring 2012, with a Grand Opening celebration in October 2012. Opportunities to support the arts and name exceptional spaces throughout the building are available at a variety of levels. A gift of any size makes a difference.
